I would like to remind you that during 23-27 February the Institute
of Geosciences at the University of Frankfurt will host the Workshop
"From atomistic calculations to thermodynamic modelling".
The lectures will cover theoretical aspects of atomistic
simulations and show how the results of the simulations can be used
for estimating missing thermodynamic data on crystalline materials.
The practical exercises will be aimed at introducing the
participants to popular software packages used for atomistic
simulations and large scale thermodynamic calculations.
