old SX-50 Microprobe available

Folgendes kam gerade über eine Mailingliste

Dear Microprobe user,
The Department of Geosciences at Uppsala University, Sweden is replacing their fully operational - but 20 year old -  CAMECA SX-50 electron microprobe this winter. We would like to draw attention to the availability of this particular instrument as either a full setup or as individual parts. This includes:
1. One fully operating SX-50 electron micro-probe including a SUN Spark5 running Solaris operation system and SXN50 software, Solflower bus converter and three WDS spectrometers.
2. Additional parts from the former microprobe lab in Outokompu Finland including all electronic boards, HT power supply (updated version), WDS and SEM (5V updated version) power supply units, and 2 WDS spectros (no motors).
If you are interested to prolong the life of your own SX-50, please get in contact with Hans Harryson, Dept. of Earth Sciences, Uppsala University, Sweden; (www.geo.uu.se/mpt/); hans.harryson(at)geo.uu.se
